The IAVC is pleased to offer the first Equine Essentials of Veterinary Chiropractic Course in 2026/2027.

New hybrid format: Course participants can begin immediately learning important veterinary chiropractic theory using the IAVC online learning platform upon full registration. This allows students to learn from home at their own pace and convenience, the knowledge and background information which will optimize the learning experience during the in-person practical sessions. The combined use of learning platform theory and in-person practical hands-on sessions form an ideal framework, developing the participant’s knowledge and skills throughout the duration of the course.

Comprehensive practical sessions with horses including safety and handling of the animals, and an introduction to the quadruped chiropractic adjustment. The focus is on motion palpation, hand and body positioning, and treatment techniques of the quadruped sacropelvic, thoracolumbar, cervical and extremity region.

Sacropelvic/Thoracolumbar Practical Session: September 24th - 26th, 2026
Cervical Practical Session: November 20th - 21st, 2026
Extremities Practical Session: January 14th - 16th, 2027
Veterinary Chiropractic Integration – Final Practical Exam Session: February 26th - 27th, 2027
