Equine and Canine Myofascial Kinetic Lines

Basic Course in Equine and Canine Myofascial Kinetic Lines

Category
Advanced seminars
Date
Nov 14–15, 2026

A November 2026 seminar announcement on the fascial system and eleven myofascial kinetic lines in horses and dogs, taught in theory and practice.

The announced seminar focuses on canine and equine myofascial kinetic lines with Prof. Dr. Vibeke S. Elbrønd, DVM, PhD.

Understanding the fascial system and its relationship to locomotion and posture supports clinical assessment. The fascial system integrates the body in a three-dimensional network and has mechanical and interconnected functions, including communication with the central nervous system.

The announced programme presents equine and canine myofascial kinetic lines in theory and practice. The course description states that, inspired by Dr. Tom Myers’ Myofascial Trains, eleven equine and canine kinetic lines were dissected and isolated.

The material discusses how knowledge of these lines may help practitioners evaluate body balance, function and compensatory mechanisms under normal and pathological conditions and incorporate the lines into treatment protocols.
