Privacy Policy

Depending on the form, we collect your name, email, phone number, country, postal address, profession and qualifications, selected courses or products, and your message. Website feedback contains your rating, optional comment and page path. We do not collect payment details.

Our application, registration, contact, product request and feedback forms send your details to the IAVC website system for storage and processing. A request does not itself confirm a course place or order.

Campaign application forms may use Brevo for operational notification and confirmation emails. Personalised links may use an expiring opaque token to retrieve contact details and prefill the form; the link does not contain your name or email.

We use your information to handle requests and bookings (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), and answer general enquiries and improve our website through feedback (our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f)).

Our hosting provider Hetzner receives technical connection data needed to deliver and secure the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; your browser sends technical connection data, including your IP address, to Google when requesting them.

Links to external services such as Google Maps open only when you choose to follow them. Their own privacy information applies after you leave the IAVC website.

Form records have a retention period of up to one year. Records arising from bookings, payments or orders may be retained separately for statutory periods. Contact us for information about your particular request.

Depending on the circumstances and the applicable data-protection rules, you may ask for access to or correction of your personal information, request deletion or restricted processing, receive information you supplied in a portable form, or object to processing. These rights may be subject to statutory conditions. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to measure website use and successful requests. Google processes cookie identifiers, visited pages, interactions, browser/device details and IP-derived approximate location. We do not send form contents to Analytics. Advertising personalisation is disabled.

Analytics starts only after you agree (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG). You can refuse or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie preferences, without affecting earlier lawful processing. Your choice is stored locally in your browser until changed or browser data is cleared.

The first-party cookies _ga (visitor identification) and _ga_LDM7QYYPFL (session state) are accessible to the Google tag and have a default lifetime of two years, renewed on visits; your browser may shorten this. Event data is retained for two months and user data for fourteen months, with user retention renewed by new activity. These limits do not apply to aggregated reports.
