An Overview
The IAVC courses are designed for professionals from both the veterinary and human chiropractic fields. The educational backgrounds of the two professions make up the foundation on which the essential course is built. Likewise, the basic veterinary chiropractic course content provides the knowledge and clinical skills to fully appreciate the advanced course content.
The International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic has been continuously using and improving their curriculum leading animal chiropractic education in Europe. It is estimated that this is the curriculum format which has been taught to well over 90% of all the professionals (vets and chiropractors) who have taken post-graduate animal chiropractic training worldwide. The International Academy's inovative adult learning courses are the foundation of the developing vetchiro field in Europe. ATF-hours (Akademie für tierärztliche Fortbildung) for our courses will be requested.
The use of horses and dogs in all modules represents our commitment to both the large and small animal sides of veterinary chiropractic. Efficient use of time is also realized, due to the overlap of theoretical aspects among different species. The inclusion of several species also provides a comparative component to modules, which most students find very positive when learning animal chiropractic. Both Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) and veterinarians are present as instructors at all modules, bringing together the necessary aspects and experience of both professions. All instructors maintain active animal chiropractic practices, thereby bringing years of clinical experience to their teaching. Please click below on the course of further interest to you.
