Ed Forgham-Bailey BVetMed MRCVS

graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2007 and went on to work internationally in ‘mixed’ veterinary practice.

In 2014 he trained in Western Veterinary Acupuncture under the renowned Samantha Lindley MRCVS and has since complemented this training with regular Continuous Professional Development in the field. He has undertaken postgraduate training in Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine with the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapy and the UK based Veterinary Herbal Training.

Ed qualified as a veterinary chiropractor under the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic, IAVC, in 2018 and veterinary chiropractic quickly became a key tool in his veterinary arsenal. Since completing the IAVC foundation course, he has continued to build his knowledge and experience by attending regular advanced courses and shadowing experienced colleagues. He now is part of the IAVC teaching team, helping to train more veterinary chiropractors in this exciting and evolving field.

He is a member of the Veterinary Society of Chiropractic, the Western Veterinary Acupuncture Group, the British Association of Veterinary Herbalists and also of the British Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Association, an organisation that strives for excellence in this exciting and ever evolving field through encouraging and funding scientific research.

In 2018 Ed ‘settled’ on the Hampshire/Dorset border and now enjoys all that the area has to offer while keeping the local animal population on top form. Based in the New Forest he provides veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic care across Hampshire, Dorset & the south coast of England with his own integrative practice www.southcoastvet.co.uk.
